It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julie A. Garmoe of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, born in Burlington, Iowa, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Ted Scherer; and her siblings, Christie Scherer, Ron and Alan Scherer. She is survived by: her mother Arlene Scherer (Hoit); her husband Michael Garmoe; her children, Mary Garmoe, Sarah Garmoe of Mount Pleasant and Micah Garmoe (Maria) of Mount Pleasant; and her grandchildren, Abigail, Agatha and Richard Garmoe.

The family will be present to greet friends beginning at 4:00 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for the American Cancer Society.
