She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles William and Gladys Elaine Snedigar (Hagist); and her husband James Ronald Monaghan. She is survived by : her children, Brandon Monaghan of Keota, Dawn Shafar of Mebane and Nathan Monaghan of Keota; her granddaughters, Amanda Heron (Triska) and Myka Shafar; and her brother John Snedigar of Keota.

Memorials may be given to Essence of Life Hospice.
