He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Barker and Sally Barker (Penn); and his siblings, Gilbert Barker, Lisle Barker and Dorothy Doyle.

He is survived by: his wife Verla of Mt. Pleasant; his daughter Krista Williams (Scott) of Brentwood, TN; his stepdaughters, Valerie Henessee of Mt. Pleasant and Kristy Henessee Kruse (Eric) of Tipton; and his grandchildren, Gabrielle Williams, Jackson Williams, Jake Kruse and Nickolas Kruse. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
