It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Collora Trueblood of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Smith and Ethel Smith (Taft); her husbands, Samuel Collora and Richard Trueblood; and her siblings, Edward Smith, Carroll Smith, Walter Smith (Pauline), Paul Smith (Verna), Wendell Smith (Margaret) of Mount Pleasant, Emma Jane Hedges (Devon) and Kathryn Hannum (Robert).
She is survived by: her children, Karen Kennedy (Nile) of St. George, UT, Evelyn Barnes (Allan) of Mount Pleasant and Sam Collora (Judi) of Mount Pleasant; her stepchildren, Ronnie Trueblood (Mila) of Mount Pleasant, Donald Trueblood (Angie) of Ladson, SC, Mike Trueblood (Susan) of Oceanside, CA and Deanna Smelkal (Joe) of Omaha, NE; and her sister Beverly Griggs (Allen) of Washington. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, a great great grandchild, 8 step grandchildren, many step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Mount Pleasant Fire Department.
