She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest "Pat" Jones and Alyce Partha Gillespie Jones; and her spouse Terrill "Terry" Wright. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Smith (Greg) of Burlington, Patrick Wright of Biloxi and Jeffrey Wright of Rapid City; her grandchildren, Zachary, Jared, Jenna and Emily; and her great grandchildren, Ali, Gia and Wells.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the Danville Community School Hot Lunch Program and Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice.
