He is survived by: his children, Tim Gerleman of Mt. Pleasant, Todd Gerleman of Lockridge, Tina Opzeeland of Oregon City and Troy Gerleman of Ottumwa; his grandchildren, Jessica Landess, Jamie Pardall, Jacque Lally, Jalyn Gerleman, Alex Gerleman, Liam Gerleman, Gabriel Opzeeland, Gavin Opzeeland, Dominic Gerleman, Katelyn Gerleman and Anna Gerleman; his great grandchildren, Teagan Landess, Coral Landess, Ezra Pardall, Tanner Pardall and Brecken Michael Lally; and his sister Mary Ann Sadler of Burlington.
A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Memorials in his memory may be directed to Compassus Hospice.
