We bid farewell to Phyllis Nicholson of Mount Pleasant, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 30, 2025 at the age of 84. Phyllis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Phyllis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Phyllis farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold L. Nicholson and Edith E. Nicholson (Steele); and her grandson Donnie Mortimer. She is survived by: her spouse Terry Monroe Parker; her children, Vickie Ann Parker of Prineville, Kimmy Sue Mortimer (Jim) of Arapahoe, Terry Edward Parker (Teri) of Springfield and Lisa Kay Parker-Gholson (Bruce) of New London; and her siblings, Richard Nicholson (Diane) of Mount Pleasant and Kathleen Fox (Randy) of Waxham.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Finley Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
