He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Robert Willits and Selma Long Willits; his wife Ruth Carolyn Whitham; his son Stephen; his sister Janet Gordon; and his half-siblings, J. T. Willits and Elin Bennett.
He is survived by: his daughter Deb Sianchuk (Curtis) of Missoula, Montana; and his grandchildren, Max Sianchuk, Brad Willits and Erica Willits. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
