Ruth N. Scott Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 9, 2025, Ruth N. Scott of Mount Pleasant, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur P. Scott; her daughter Linda Stover; her grandson David Niedert; her great grandchild Jerrad Ramon; her siblings, Milbrey Otto Burgett, Maude Hamby (Burgett), Jimmie Pierce and Ruby Dell Sirmons (Burgett); and also Kristine Scott (Klock).
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Jenise Trappe), Donna White (Scott) and Janice Larsen of Mt. Pleasant, IA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the White Funeral Home (400 1st St W, Independence, IA 50644). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family to be donated to organizations important to Ruth.
