She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hurt and Rose Hurt; and her former husband David Harper. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Bryan of Mt. Pleasant and Walter Harper (Jessica) of Moberly, Missouri; and her sister Linda Martin of Bettendorf, Iowa.. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
