She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond Perry and Thelma Louise Scott (Wright); her former life partner Arnold LuVern Hummell; and her husband John Mitchell. She is survived by : her sons, Kelley Hummell of Boone, IA and Mike Hummell (Donna Marie) of Eldon, IA; her daughter-in-law Ruby Hummell of Mt. Pleasant; her son Tim Hummell; her daughter-in-law Christine Hummell; and her brother Donald Scott (Martha Hatch).
