He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert P. Wasson and Philsyleen Wasson (Babe). He is survived by: his wife Liz; his daughters, Christine Griffith (Ron) and Jodi Wasson (Tim VanAmerongen); his grandchildren, Ali Wolf (Zach), Reid Griffith (Emily), Evan Griffith (Savannah), Jenna Roeth (Eli), Taran VanAmerongen (Harley Clark), Mica Bohler (Blare) and Dalon VanAmerongen (DeeAnn Stark); and his great grandchildren, Daphne Griffith, Bentley VanAmerongen, Jamison Clark, Jr., Clark, Israe Bohler, Autum Bohler and Jennings Beaty.
Memorials may be directed to the Winfield Fire and Rescue in his memory.
