He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Martin and Suzanna Phelps (Poulter); his spouse Kumyea Lee; his children, Patricia Phelps Tinder of Eagan, MN and Thomas "Tim" Phelps IV of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Matthew Tinder, Alexa Tinder, Thomas "Martin" Phelps and Serena Phelps; and his siblings, Bill Phelps (Leore) of Paola, KS, Dave Phelps (Lonna), Ruth Noren of Prairie Village, KS, Lois Noll (Leonard) of Stockport, IA, Mary Kongable of Winfield, IA., John "Pete" Phelps, Dorothy Miller and Helen Matthews.
