He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Paxton and Opal Verlee Barr (Nihart); his son Wally Barr; and his sister Verlee Van Amerongon. He is survived by: his former wife Barb Carver; his wife Linda Jacobs; his children, Chris Barr (Becky) of Mount Pleasant, Lanny Barr of Farmington, Micky Barr of New London and Vanessa Wagner of Salem; his sister Joyce Young of Mount Pleasant; and his stepsiblings, Donna Fillinger of Mount Pleasant, Joy Gilleard of Mount Pleasant and Tom Guinn of Arizona.
