He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Vantiger and Angela Fedler Vantiger; his wife Georgianna Dodge; his son Joe Vantiger; his siblings, Bob, Fred and Wilma Anderson; and his son Rick Rodgers.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Vantiger (Pam) of Yarmouth, Dave Vantiger of Mt. Union, Patty Ford (Larry) of Mt. Pleasant, Scott Vantiger of Mt. Union and Karen Palar (Kurt) of Danville; his daughter-in-law Marcy Vantiger of Mt. Union; his siblings-in-law, Anita Vantiger of Mt. Union, Frieda Vantiger of Mt. Union and Larry Anderson of Mediapolis; his grandchildren, Jenny, Luke, Traci, Adam, Megan and Brock; his great grandchildren, Grant, Gracie, Max, Brooks, Grayson, Boyd, Karsen, Nolan and Brynlee; and his pet Max. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
