We bid farewell to Bill Nost of Mount Vernon, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 20, 2025 at the age of 87. Bill touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Nost (Frieda Bruce) and Norine Nost (Ellison); his siblings, Donald Nost and Cora Collins; and his great grandchild Aiden Beadle.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Nost; his children, Patricia Emmerich (Coy), Robert Nost (Deanna), Melissa Ainesworth (Bill), Jeff Yock, Peggy Wagner (Tyler) and Duane Yock (Kelley); and his siblings, Walter Nost, Richard Nost, Joyce Nost and John Nost. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the family for a future donation made to a to be determined charity or organization.
