Clifford Moore Obituary
We announce the death of Clifford Moore of Mount Vernon, Iowa, who passed away on June 19, 2026, at the age of 97. Clifford will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Moore and Mary Moore (Zarba); his wife Fern Wiedersberg; and his siblings, Leota Yanda, Hillard Moore, Robert "Bobby" Moore, John Moore and Mike Moore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Corine "Hearts" Moore of Mt. Vernon, IA and Jackie Moore of Mt. Vernon; and his grandson Nathan Schulz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and or to the Smile Train.
