We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Dorothy D. Rogers of Mount Vernon, Iowa, born in Statesville, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph McGill Deal and Florence Miller Deal; and her child Jessie. She is survived by : her siblings, Ralph and Rebecca; her children, Scott, Douglas, R. Dwight, David, Jane Gray and Richard Rogers; and her husband Ed Rogers of Mt. Vernon Iowa.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in her memory to either, Southern Poverty Law Center, Iowa City Shelter House or Iowa City Meeting House.
