Elizabeth Wolfe Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 5, 2026, at the age of 98, Elizabeth Wolfe of Mount Vernon, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Pospisil and Marie Pospisil; her husband John Wolfe; her son Steven; and her siblings, Agnes, Stell, Eleanor, Mary, Philip, Joseph, Robert, Paul and Helen.
She is survived by: her children, Barb Wolfe of Durango, Tom Wolfe of Mount Vernon, Joe Wolfe (Kelli) of Mount Vernon, Patrick Wolfe of Mount Vernon, Andy Wolfe (Anissa) of Mount Vernon, Mary Morningstar (Doug) of Lisbon and Susie See (Chris) of Mount Vernon. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial donations to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Southeast Linn Community Center, or Hospice of Mercy.
