He is survived by: his wife Caroline Kelly (Locher); his children, Laura, James (Adriana), Bart (Catherine), Daniel and Robert (Jody); his grandchildren, Yul Juaquin, Graciela, James, Anna Lucia, Moira, George, Brigid, Aoife, Deirdre, Simon, Orlaith, Maxwell and Cecilia; his grandchildren-in-law, Pat and Bea; and his grandchildren, John, Amy, Liz, Jack, Ann, Steve, Paul, Jane, Jim, Margaret and Matt. He is also survived by his brothers, sisters.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (212 7th St SE, Mt Vernon, IA 52314). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
