She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Squires (Brian), John Novotny and Jeff Novotny (Sara); her grandchildren, Jordan Forbes, Cade Forbes and Petra Novotny; and her siblings, Phyllis Phillips, Stan McGaffee, Janice Larison and Connie Jacobson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services (715 10th Ave SW, Mt Vernon, IA 52314). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
