We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2023, at the age of 78, Michael Kortemeyer of Mount Vernon, Iowa, born in Hamilton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Kortemeyer and Garnetta Kortemeyer (Klein); and his brother John Kortemeyer. He is survived by : his wife Susette Courter; his children, Tim Kortemeyer (Ann), Tom Kortemeyer (Amy) and Courtney Jasper (Kevin); his grandchildren, Sara (Wyatt), Jay, Ryan, Morgan, Tyler and Travis; his great grandchildren, Gus and Abe; and his sister Deborah Gronowski (Leon). He is also survived by numerous in-laws and cousins.
