With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James D. Nixon of Moville, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on December 4, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Glen Nixon and Florence Nixon; and his brother Jack Nixon. He is survived by : his wife Frances Lee Nixon; his grandchildren, Jimi, Zach, Levi, Matthew and Audrey; and his pet Pookie.

The family expresses deep appreciation for the compassionate care provided by Hospice of the Midwest, and memorials will be directed to them in honor of James Daniel Nixon.
