He is survived by: his children, Toby Kern (Sarah) of Letts, Landon Krueger (Alisa) of Moline and Chandler Wehmeyer (Derek) of Tipton; his grandchildren, Maleah Wright (Alex) of Reedsburg, Arianna Burns (Thomas) of Muscatine, Hannah Brennan of Duncan, Mathew Brennan of Moline and Carter Wehmeyer of Tipton; his sisters, Lynne Schroeder (Jeff) and Rebecca Porter; his sisters-in-law, Trina Ward and Nancy Ward; and his aunt Kathy Chalupa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Boonie's.
