He is survived by : his mother Fredricka Lanham Hoftender; his son Tyler Hoftender of Tulsa, OK; his grandchildren, Mila and Micah; and his siblings, Karen O'Ferrell (Chris), Sharon Wilson, Amy Ward (Mike), Jay Hoftender, Tim Hoftender (Heather), Ann Patrick (Darren) and Alan Hoftender (Allison).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory (201 4th Ave E, Milan, IL 61264).
