As we bid adieu to Carrie's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Carrie has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her mother Henriette H. Behrens Costas; her grandparents, Henry J. and Helen Wicky Behrens; her uncles, David and Harold Behrens; and her aunt Judy Gillespie.
She is survived by: her aunt Kathy Behrens Brown (Don) of Muscatine. She is also survived by seven cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mulford Evangelical Free Church (2400 Hershey Ave, Muscatine, IA 52761).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hidden Acres Christian Center.
