She was predeceased by: her father Donald "Don" Cain; and her nephew Robby Cain. She is survived by: her mother Carol Jane Cain (Petersen) of DeWitt, IA; her brothers, Douglas Cain (Kelly) of Delmar, IA and Daryn Cain of DeWitt, IA; and her cousins, Jodi and Carmen.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church at Bliedorn or Camp Courageous of Iowa.
