He is survived by: his parents, Gregory Mier (Pam) and Julia Tietge Bass (Lowell); his son Cody Mier; his grandchildren, Rylee Edmondson, Colton Mier and Raylyn Mier; his sister Bethany Fry (Brad); his stepsiblings, Todd Bass, Julie Tate, Tyler Whalen and Tara Baker; his uncle Donnie; his aunts, Sheri and Roxie; his nephews, Garrett Cook and Wyett Cook; and his great-nephew Garrett Benjamin Cook.
