He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl A. Kraklow and Helen Sievers Kraklow; his mother-in-law Ann M. Van Gent; his former wife Ann; his son-in-law Chad Winegard; and his siblings, Duane Kraklow, Allan Kraklow, Dave Kraklow, Carl Kraklow, Grace Hepner and Marge Baker.

He is survived by: his wife Melanie Kraklow of Muscatine; his children, Mike Kraklow (Martha Vredenburg) of Arizona, Diane Winegard of Muscatine and Tammy Hartley (Jeff) of Muscatine; his granddaughter Tasha Phillips (Matt); his children, Matt Winegard (Amanda), Eric Slater, Chelsea Freie (Drew), Samantha Bass (Kyle), Kierra Rankins, Brooke Batha, Summer Klemesrud (Austin), Chris Wibe (Michelle) and Stephen Wibe (Tina); his sister Darlene Schmidt; and his close friend Owen Metzger. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
