David left this world on April 20, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald Paul and Irene Paul (Petrie); his wife Carol; his son Jeffrey Joe Paul; his wife Judy; his son-in-law Craig Steahr; and his siblings, Lela and Donald.

He is survived by : his children, Denise Steahr of Muscatine, Shannon Paul (Joan) of Muscatine and Dwayne Paul (Tammy) of Muscatine; his grandchildren, Curtis, Cory-Jo, Mindy, Isaac, David, Abby and Josh; his great grandchildren, Lexie, Evelyn and Madelyn; and his sister Marcie Cates.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Muscatine (2904 Mulberry Ave, Muscatine, IA 52761).
