He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Coss and Iola Coss; his wife Patricia J. Reed; his brother Jerry; and his sister-in-law Joyce.
He is survived by: his sons, Matt Coss (Melissa) of Muscatine, Mark Coss of Davenport, Andrew Coss (Jill) of Whitestown, Indiana and Ben Coss (Brandi Cawiezell) of Muscatine; his sister Janice Roberts (Nevin) of Muscatine; and his grandchildren, Joseph, Carly, Violet and Reid.
Memorials in Donald's name may be made to Camp Courageous of Iowa or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
