He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Proctor and Essie Bernice Crist Horton; his wife Patricia Louise Huttenstine; his son David Horton; and his sister Mona Horton.
He is survived by: his daughter Teresa Warshefski (Steve Baker); his stepson Randy Jones (Linda) of Muscatine; his daughter-in-law Teresa Horton (David); his grandchildren, Michelle, Christopher, Jennifer, Suzzanne, Matthew, Jessica and Michaela; his great grandchildren, Zeven, Kez and Maddox; and his siblings, Ronald Horton and Donna Messner.
