Gary Montagna Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Gary Montagna (Muscatine, Iowa) is shared. Gary, born on August 29, 1960, passed away on July 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Sr. Montagna and Nina Montagna (Grady); his siblings, Gale McIntosh and Johnny Montagna; and his brother-in-law Scott Leaf.

He is survived by: his children, Amanda Golden (Jamie), Brandy Harfst (Steve), Chad Montagna (Elsa) and Dale "Murphy" Montagna; his grandchildren, Simon, Sunny, Ryan, Wyatt, Charlotte, Meah, Marley, Antonia, Donatella and Landon; his great grandchild William; his siblings, Kim Kneese, Marcus Montagna Jr. (Diana), Robert Montagna, Gloria Schmelzer (Jerry) and Robin Leaf; and his collie Jake.
