He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph W. Taylor and Ruth Tillard Taylor; his wife Janice H. Bartenhagen; and his sister Judi Taylor. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary E. Taylor Daufeldt (Jeff) and Linda C. Taylor; his grandson Jake Taylor (Caitlin); his great grandchildren, Kamryn E. Taylor and Ryan G. Taylor; his sister Elaine Phillips (Jerry); his sibling's children, Sarah VonHoldt (Matt) and Scott Phillips; and his pet Aria.

Memorials may be made to the Island Methodist Church or the Jan and George Taylor Memorial Scholarship Bowling Tournament.
