He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold E. Pace and Evelyn Pace (Wagner); his wife Barbara Kathleen Freers; his stepmother Jean Stiff Pace; his stepsisters, Carol Stiff Anderson and Dorothy Jean Stiff Tague; and his great grandchild Samantha Sayre.
He is survived by: his children, Deboraha Howard (Carroll) of Muscatine, Sally Sallee (David) of Wilton, Tim Pace (Konnie) of Muscatine and Andrew Pace of Cedar Rapids; his brothers, Harlan Pace of Northlake, IL and David Pace (Valerie) of Roseville, MN.; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Howard, Britnae' Charlett (Tim), Adam Howard, Zac Pace (Jesse), Raymond Sallee, Tammy Donaldson, Tim Sallee (Patti) and Sarah Dickerson (Larry). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home (1931 Houser St, Muscatine, IA 52761). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
