He is survived by: his wife Susan Fifer; his sons, Jesse Bermel (Ashley) and Jason Bermel; his grandchildren, Wynnie and Evie Bermel; and his siblings, Janet Derksen (John) and Ronald Bermel (Deb).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home (1931 Houser St, Muscatine, IA 52761). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mary and Mathias ChurchMary and Mathias Church (215 W 8th St, Muscatine, IA 52761).
