James left this world on July 9, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Weber and Beulah Weber (Eliason); and his sister Joan Weber. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Downey of Illinois City; his children, Dennis Weber of Illinois City, IL, Mark Weber of Oak Park, IL and Jane Sturgeon (Cord) of River Forest, IL; and his granddaughters, Katherine and Cassidy Sturgeon.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services (2907 Mulberry Ave, Muscatine, IA 52761). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
