She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Hermann and Dorothy Estella Hermann (Daufeldt); and her daughter Deborah Murphy. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Jan Kindler of Muscatine; her son David Kindler (M. J.) of Oak Park, Illinois; her son-in-law Rob Murphy of St. Charles, Missouri; her grandchildren, Leah Kindler of Chicago, Evan Kindler of Cambridge and Alexander Murphy of Nashville, Tennessee; and her siblings, Delores Rehms (Donald) of San Clemente, Charles Hermann (Ann) of Muscatine and Donald Hermann of Tipton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Muscatine Art Center or New Era Lutheran Church in memory of Janet.
