He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Edward and Nellie Vera Lange (Brown); his wife Mary L. Byers; and his brothers, Donald and Edward Lange.
He is survived by: his pet Friskey; his son Lance Lange (Michelle) of Urbandale; his grandchildren, Kelsey of New York City, NY and Maddox of Urbandale; his great grandchild Dr. Erin Lange-Vandello; and also Winter of Tampa, FL..
