He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Axel and Chester Axel. He is survived by: his wife Joni; his siblings, Ron and Donna; his sons, Andy and Brad; his daughters-in-law, Elizabeth and Andrea; and his grandchildren, Maddy, Katy, Day and Emily.
Although his contributions to his community are legion, John will be missed most for his warmth, humor, and capacity to give.
