It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Stephen Meerdink (Muscatine, Iowa), who passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Warren and Grace E. Varney Meerdink; and his siblings, Barbara Meerdink Brown, Mike Meerdink and Jay Meerdink.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Meerdink; his children, Lorrie Lacina, John Meerdink (Mary Beth) and David Meerdink; his grandchildren, Dawson, Delaney, James, Sarah and Mikhala; his great grandchildren, James Jr., Knox, Addison, Anthony, Andrew and Alice; and his siblings, Warren'Skip'Meerdink, Judy Meerdink Simmons and Bill Meerdink.
