He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Baxter and Elizabeth Baxter (Horn). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann McElhinney of Morning Sun; his children, Wade (Megan Murphy Baxter) and Trisha J Baxter of Eldridge, Iowa; his siblings, Ronnie Baxter (Marilyn) of DeWitt, Allen Baxter (Vicki) of Chesapeake, Virginia and Connie Malcolm of Rolla, Missouri; his grandchildren, Marcus Harrington (Allison), Dante Harrington (Savannah), Olivia Young, Nicole Henson (Bryan), Adriana Baxter and Briggs Baxter; and his great grandchildren, Ryder Patrick McGee, Salem Rose Henson and Aliyah Marie Harrington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Muscatine Humane Society in memory of Kent.
