She was predeceased by: her parents, Delmer Hill and Darlene Hill (Staats); and her siblings, Lori Rick, Debra Berger, Michael Hill, Sherry Franklin and Mitchel Longcor.
She is survived by: her husband Louis G. Simpson; her children, John Simpson of Muscatine, Michelle Haller (Jacquelinne) of Muscatine and William Simpson (Shannon) of Denison, Iowa; her grandchildren, Mykel Simpson (Haley), Heather Lindeman (Austin), Pyre Haller, Raven-Skye Haller (Joey Hathaway), Halie Grey, Abigail Grey and William Simpson; her great grandchildren, Mallory, Rowan, Emma, Esmie and Alleigha; and her siblings, Marcia Birkhofer (Kevin), Yvonne Orr (Brandon Buster), Delma Young (Jimmy), Darla Doty (Scott) and James McBride (Tanya). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
