She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sywassink and Ruth Sywassink (Froehner); her husband Wilbur L. Hetzler; her siblings, Pauline Philgreen (E. Edward) and Paul Sywassink; and her siblings-in-law, Marian Ide (Herbert), Albert (Grace), Edgar (Betty), Wayne (Florence), Marvin (Reva) and Herbert Hetzler (Martha).
She is survived by: her children, Jim Hetzler (Chris) of Muscatine, Kim Burdakin (Dave) of Muscatine, Jay Hetzler (Molly) of Taylor Ridge, IL and Kay LaRue (Don) of Muscatine; her grandchildren, James Hetzler (Rikki), Jacob Hetzler (Keisha), Aaron, Troy Grady, Jenna Bass (Brandon), Brittany Bonnicksen (Blake), Mike Burdakin (Lauren), Tom Burdakin (Ana), Joshua, Jared Hetzler and MacKenzie Robbins (Karyn) of Amanda Palango, JD; her great grandchildren, Madison, Austyn Hetzler, Kase Bass, Blakely, Brynlee Bonnicksen, Eliza, Clara Burdakin, Zachary, Stephanie LaRue, Nicholas, Tiffany, Antonia Pepe and Bristol Palango; and her sister-in-law Ellie Sywassink.
