She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Clinton and Martha Agnes Reed, Sr. (Bopp); and her brother Merle Reed, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn LaFayette of Columbus Junction, Jim Billingsley (Jeanette) of Wilton and Jeff Longcor (Shila) of Illinois City; her grandchildren, Kristy Loose (Josh), Amy Young (Jason), Jason Cadogan (Megan), Ryan Lucatero, Michael Lucatero, Hannah Fogel (Brandon), Emma Smyth (Austin) and Jacob Longcor; her sisters, Marge Bowers (David) of Orion and Carol Martin (David) of Edgington; and her sister-in-law Linda Reed of Illinois City. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services (2907 Mulberry Ave, Muscatine, IA 52761). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mary and Mathias Catholic Church (215 W 8th St, Muscatine, IA 52761).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the family in memory of Mary.
