He is survived by: his wife Diane Phelps; his children, Michael Frantz (Casey), Paige Wymer (Scotty) and Ethan Frantz (Savannah); his grandchildren, Avery Frantz, Penelopy Frantz, Gage Frantz, Gannon Frantz and Wyatt Frantz; and his siblings, Kathy Cottrell (Jim), Roxanne Musser, Pat Beals (Mike), Bobbi Chaplin (Mike), Mark Frantz (Laurie) and Shelley Watson (Bill Wall).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home (1931 Houser St, Muscatine, IA 52761). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Humane Society.
