It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl (Marolf) Strause of Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on April 25, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Marolf and Mary Marolf (Andreas); her siblings, Floyd Marolf and Ruth Collins; and her niece Myra Funkhouser-Marolf.

She is survived by : her brother Raymond Marolf of Moline, Illinois; her nephews, David Marolf (Liz) of Prescott Valley, James Marolf (Kerry) of Rock Island, Illinois and Michael Marolf of Rock Island, Illinois; her niece Pamela Ernat (Mark) of Rock Island, Illinois; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Joshua Marolf (Ashley), Jennifer Marolf, Kathryn Reyes, Anna Marolf and Timothy Marolf; her cousin Joyce Miller of Davenport, Iowa.; and also, Kierra, Evalyn, Noah, John James and Bella.

Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church, Muscatine or the Muscatine County Humane Society in Pearl's memory.
