He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Eason and Patricia Eason (Hall); his wife Laurel Eberle of Muscatine; his children, Joe Eason (Jen) of Port Washington, WI, Abbey Lochmoeller of Creston and Amos Eason (Sarah) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Sam Eason, Maddie Eason, Dylan Eason, Cadence Pierce, Joseph Lochmoeller, Micah Lochmoeller, Caleb Lochmoeller and Warren Eason; his siblings, Perry Eason of Carroll and Polly Eason of Carroll; his siblings-in-law, Steve Eberle of Boone and Sara Hardy (Mike) of Des Moines; his in-laws, Duane, Pat Eberle and Carol Eberle; and his sister Pamela. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dahn & Woodhouse Funeral Home - Scranton (906 Grant St, Scranton, IA 51462). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Scranton Community Center (900 Madison St, Scranton, IA 51462).
