He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo David and Mildred McCleary (Howard); and his brother Richard McCleary. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor "Lynn" McCleary of Muscatine; and his cousins, Terry McCleary, Larry McCleary and Leo McCleary.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine (2907 Mulberry Ave, Muscatine, IA 52761). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services (2907 Mulberry Ave, Muscatine, IA 52761).
