He is survived by: his wife Diana Martin Armstrong; his children, Tom Broderson of Muscatine, Susan Armstrong of Blue Grass, Michelle Berns of Moscow, Donna Berger of Muscatine, Andy Broderson (Melissa Hazelwood) of Muscatine and Beth Foor (Matt) of Muscatine; his grandchildren, Timothy Berger, Karolyn Broderson, Rebecca Brewer, Jocelyn Curtis, Halley Berger, Kallie Broderson, Ayden Berns, Ethan Berns and Drew Broderson; his great grandchild Jesse Brewer V; his mother-in-law Beverly Mason of Washington; his siblings, Gary Broderson (Kathy) of Muscatine, Carl A. Broderson, Jr. (Regena) of Muscatine, Judy Qualls Rivera of Muscatine and Terry Gorsuch (Tom) of Wilton; and his in-laws, Jeff Martin (Gwen), Susan Blair (Greg), Tom Martin (Carla), Matt Martin and Harry Martin (Rachael).
A memorial has been established for a carved mushroom tribute to be placed at Discovery Park in Rodger's honor. Memorials may be directed to Diana Broderson in care of Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services, 2907 Mulberry Avenue, Muscatine, Iowa.
